Description
They are knowed like “actives” antistatic systems. The principle consists to create an ionization in air, in double polarity, in order to eliminate static electricity. In fact , if you supply + and – ions, in same quantity, if the film is in – charges in excess, the + that you supply, eliminate the minus. This process obtain a balanced electrical situation and static phenomena is eliminated. The reason to use active system instead of antistatic brushes is to operate in a higher distance from material, without contact, and possibility to discharge 3D pieces.
Applications
Ionizing bars are large used to electrostatic discharge from extruded films, printing machinery , textile industries, paper and tissue production, converting, and generally in all production of flat dielectric materials, and generally in all cases that you need to operate without contact.
